IRELAND, Cork

Titanic in Cobh

RMS Titanic, built at the Harland and Wolfe shipyard in Belfast Ireland, undertook her first and only voyage in April 1912. She was marketed as the biggest and most luxurious liner to date. Ironically she was deemed to be one of the safest ships afloat.

Cobh, her last port of call, was called Queenstown at the time. The last passengers to board the ship for its intended journey to New York boarded there. Of the one hundred and twenty three who did so, only forty four survived. Today, the original buildings, streets and piers of a century ago are still standing.

Having anchored briefly at the entrance to Cork harbour to transfer her passengers and mail to and from Cobh, Titanic set sail on what became one of the most notorious maritime stories of tragedy. The ship struck an iceberg on the night of April 14th 1912 and foundered with the loss of over 1500 passengers early on the morning of the 15th.

This a place is the few photos I take in Cork Ireland walking around that city and 3 hours I got 20 best shot picture. This is a glimpse photographic on Cork Ireland I got last year August 2011 having D90 NIKON.. After we passed through from Atlantic Ocean for 4 days this is the Port we've been take place, I was so blessed not all the people went here...

London England 2011

Dover England is the mother port of my joining ship. I've noticed the castle up hill in the mountain was very astonished to see and never hesitate to go there aside from this beautiful sightseeing were I post here in this site.. Dover Castle is a medieval castle in the town of the same name in the English county of Kent. It was founded in the 12th century and has been described as the "Key to England" due to its defensive significance throughout history.It is the largest castle in England.

Originally the site may have been fortified with earthworks in the Iron Age or earlier, before the Romans invaded in AD43. This is suggested on the basis of the unusual pattern of the earthworks which does not seem to be a perfect fit for the medieval castle, excavations have provided evidence of Iron Age occupation within the locality of the castle, but it is not certain whether this is associated with the hillfort.There have also been excavations on the mound which the church and Roman Pharos are situated on and has been discovered to be a Bronze Age mound.

The site also contained one of Dover's two 80-foot (24 m) Roman lighthouses (or Pharoses), one of which still survives, whilst the remains of the other are located on the opposing Western Heights, across the town of Dover. On the site is a classic montrol (campsite) where the Normans landed after their victorious conquest.

ICELAND, reykjavik 2011

With a population of around 120,000, it is the heart of Iceland's economic and governmental activity. Reykjavík is believed to be the location of the first permanent settlement in Iceland. The city was founded in 1786 as an official trading town and grew steadily over the next decades, as it transformed into a regional and later national centre of commerce, population, and governmental activities.

Here is some few photos I selected was taken in Iceland on last year 2011 of September were all the people who first time came here so amazed... However we could't imagine how people live here but this experienced makes me more passionate and appreciative in mother nature..

Greenland Photo Adventure 2011

Greenland is by area, the world's largest island. With a population of 56,615 (January 2011 estimate) it is the least densely populated dependency or country in the world. Last June 2011 our ship went through to a Greenland Island, the time I saw a small population near a remote area were the kids catching the fish through their own improvised fishing line. These photos is a glimspe nature seascape as well were I 'am standing in the bow of the ship using Nikon D90 100mm Lens. I went outside deck to having to get snapshots and stolen shot doing as well documentation video that place for personal purposes.
